About us

Introduction

Our IT solutions let you focus on the real work away from IT concerns

Welcome to Tokyo Glitter.

“Glitter” means “to shine with sparkling light,” but our company name does not reflect a desire for ourselves to be seen radiating with gorgeous splendor.

The fish in our logo is a deep-sea footballfish, or chōchin ankō, which literally translates as “lantern anglerfish.” Even in the cold, dark depths, we wish to be a ray of light illuminating for each of our clients an environment where they can perform to the best of their ability. It is this seemingly modest, yet really somewhat ambitious aspiration that is embodied in the word “Glitter.”

IT is a tool. It exists solely to help humans focus their minds on new ideas and innovation—something computers cannot do. But the problem with IT environments today, it seems, is that they actually consume too much of our time.

Our solutions are all very simple, but they are immensely useful tools in giving you the room you need to focus on tasks only humans can perform.

Wherever you choose to shine, we can assist you.

Anyone can shine doing their chosen work, whether they wish to wow the audience from center stage or support others from behind the scenes.

When they do shine, only then do we feel modestly proud about bringing “glitter” to the ocean depths.

Simple but smooth—we will help build such an environment for you.

Our Mission

We will deliver IT solutions that let clients completely forget about IT

What is “work”?

Surely work is all about providing customers and business partners irreplaceable value, with the value provider itself earning great satisfaction and a solid level of income. And while there are various ways of expressing it, surely it is about making an effort, even if you are not in a position of actually making contact with customers, to ensure that irreplaceable value is ultimately generated.

But the reality is that people get caught up doing tasks that are clearly wasteful, or miscellaneous chores that have to be cleared out of the way before starting on value-generating work. I imagine everyone has experienced having to do work of a quality that falls short of what is required.

Real IT solutions are supposed to remove obstacles that stand in the way of us getting on with real work.

But in fact, it is often the case that they become obstacles themselves due to problems with operability, versatility or security, for example.

And there is certainly no hope of doing away with such obstacles in IT environments where time is taken to learn how to operate the equipment or where individual users quickly devise a whole host of clever techniques and personal rules.

Is there really a way to remove these obstacles easily, quickly and at low cost?

Leave it to us!

Tokyo Glitter has the expertise and capability to make it happen.
